  1. Most of the forms in Paint.NET's source cannot be viewed in the forms designer (because of the way they handle resources? I.D.R) but all the forms designer does is add the control variables and add code to the InitializeComponent() method, so if you poke around in there a bit you should be able to figure out how to add controls at runtime.
  2. The path that you are building from CAN NOT have any spaces in it ("Documents and Settings") Why? Ask Rick. But just move the entire source directory to a different path with no spaces, and let's see how that goes.
  3. No XP support = problem, as the great majority of Paint.NET users are still running XP.
  4. Sleep? What is that? *twitch twitch* Last month of school is hectic... my plugin probably won't land in the forum for another week... or more.
  5. I was going to say that maybe the tolerance percentage is factoring the alpha channel into its equation, but then I tried coloring half of my canvas black and half white. Set the tolerance for 92% and only 1 color was selected wherever I clicked the magic wand. IOW: I can't reproduce what you're talking about uH. Rick? Comments?
  6. if you're just trying to make a link to the image, then you don't need the tags at all.
  7. Bossk, I find it strange that you are having so much trouble linking images in this forum, considering you have a perfectly good working one in your signature. The format needs to be like this: What you have is this: Just move stuff around and add a closing tag and everything should be dandy.
  8. Yata, was in response to Continuing to debate screen resolutions is hardly relevant to this thread anyway.
  9. screen resolution shouldn't cause the color palette to detach from the main window though, unless you have some reallllllllly weird code in there, rick.
  10. oh no! it's a sign! rick is gimp-ifying pdn! noooooooooooo!
  11. actually , mattblacklamb, that second one does look really cool through 3d glasses! (yes i just happen to have them lying around)
  12. Install the waves plugin: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=4253 it will be in Effects> Distort> Waves draw a circle on a blank layer, then use the waves plugin and move the Radius slider around until you get a look you like. leave the other 2 sliders in their default positions. touch up as needed.
  13. lookin good on the inside but oh boy those edges.... hint: radial blur works wonders on orbs.
  14. since it's supposedly water resistant paper, the water drops should have more depth, as they would be sitting on the paper, instead of absorbed into it. Also the holes could be cleaner cut. It's a neat idea though.
  15. alrighty alrighty and here is my entry: this is based off of this album and lyrics from a song on it, "Endlessly, She Said" 100% PdN! No external images used.
  16. Huh? The links on the download page. MajorGeeks and BetaNews. Twice. source as in source code
  17. By request: Crunchy! about 45 seconds of pure PdN magic. it was for an avatar, so it'll be scaled down and AA doesn't really matter.
  18. No worries! Windows Media Player 11 has little white pixels in the top right AND left corners.
  19. it means the edges are not smooth and look pixelated.
