  1. Man...that would take a LOT of programming and a Tibetan monk to do...but alas I'm all out of monks. However, if it was possible, it would be one of the coolest effects ever!
  2. Just a heads up man, that's a massive sig...and while I don't know the exact size a sig should be...I'm pretty sure that's too large.
  3. Whoa! Why did I not think of this before?! *slaps hand on forehead*
  4. Have you tried the rounded rectangle tool? It's on the left...shortcut key 'O'.
  5. It looks like two hearts, a red and white one but he uses an ellipse selection to take out part of the white one...feathered and gradient-ed...?
  6. Very nice barkbark...very aesthetically pretty. What's weird is that now that I've browsed the forum for a while, I can actually pick out different methods you used to make it! I'm so excited!
  7. V-Day image...also in Overflow forum...sorry about double post...

  9. Haha...had I known that I would have posted something more meaningful...perhaps my sig statement counts?
  10. Wow...pretty sweet. Let me guess, polar inversion + tile reflection? Although the flames have me a little stumped ...
  11. Very pretty...I like the use of the color blue. But I agree with Bolt...you need a small diamond gradient for shine on the bright spot... And a random cowbell orbiting!
  12. It's Valentine's Day people! Get those imaginations in gear! Hey guys I need to create some sort of Valentine's Day image (i.e. graphic w/ or w/out text). I've got a couple ideas and I thought to myself "Hey self, I'll ask the Paint.Net peeps if they have any ideas as well." So...as it's just around the corner...anyone have any ideas for a cool Valentine's Day graphic? Could be for anything!
  13. Yeah, I know this picture has been done before...but this plugin is absolutely amazing!
  14. duplicate layer, emboss, change layer blending to ovelay Ooo...now that's a neat trick!

  17. 1. Here's what I did...create a new Paint.Net doc. 2. Click on the circle select and draw a circle by holding down shift. 3. Change your primary color to white and your secondary color to a dark brown. 4. Click on Effects>Clouds. Turn the scale down a bit...the lower the scale the smaller the cloudy area...I used 184 and 50. 5. Once clouds are on, add noise via the Effects>Add noise menu...I used 64 and 0. 6. Motion blur that the direction you want it to go...I used 141 degrees and 22 px. 7. Adjust the Brightness/Contrast under adjustments...I used -72 and 58. 8. Gaussian blur @ 2 px. 9. Add a layer of black/white clouds and set layer blending to overlay. By playing around with these settings, I'm sure you'd be able to make something close to that. Does this help at all?
