So a stolen stolen idea? Well I made it and my graphic design teacher liked it. I personally like the effect I got on mercury in it.

I am jealous. Anyways, I am not one to copy ideas, but I saw someone made something like this a while back.. I personally feel I made the sun way too big. haha it is png, sorry for the long load... I made some cool spheres in Photoshop today.

I blur too much, I am addicted to gaussian blur.

Find the box that has a diagonal line through it, hold mouse over it and wait for description, and then click it off.

TAKEN FROM TRICKMANS TUT - this part only. 1. Go to http://bitmapmania.m78.com , click on the icon , and choose the first font (BM Cube). Download it and install it. Make the scan lines as a new layer, press F2, and set properties to overlay...Find them here. http://forum.userbars.com/viewtopic.php?t=455 Then Crop out a line around the image for what shape you want it to be, Magic wand the area outside of it, or erase very carefully. Use the font I gave in the beginning on a NEW LAYER. Normal blending mode. Then. Save as PNG.

My guess is it is a corrupted file. Stuff happens sometimes, thought I rarely hear about a corrupted image file..

Befriend someone that is a teacher. Go to http://www.journeyed.com They have really inexpensive photoshop. Now DOOM ON YOU. My blur tool is my lasso and my gaussian blur.

So today I used photoshop for the first time in a LONG LONG time. I admire how organized everything is in PDN... I also admire how you dont have to hold down alt AND control to get something done. The only thing I could ask for now is only a couple different brushes and the flow bar thing and some more effects plugins and then I will make all my stuff with PDN at school...I showed him some stuff today, and he was amazed, cept my pixels/inch was really low.

Give me the colors and I can do it for you... Here is a simple way First make the layer transparent. Make a black oval, and gaussian blur that a little bit, mess around with that. Then, on a NEW layer, make the color you want a tiny bit smaller than that with the color you want it mainly. Create a new layer, make an oval slightly smaller than the last, and blurr it that, make the color of the oval slightly lighter than the last... Rinse and repeat till you are satisfied. Adjust the Opacity a little bit on the first black layer at the end, if you get too much black for your lighting. Then pick a font, and color for it and make that on a new layer. If you want me to make it I can. If this is a link button and you want to make it standard 80x31, I suggest with something in proportion, like 160x62 or 240x93 -RaveN

Haha....Yeah, Maybe a shape creator can be incorporated in this as well, ie- pentagons, hexagons, and octagons, if not, i will continue to make them the hard way. YAY!

PNG are good for Elin Grindemyr =) I really only use PNG...

Hairy Otters are cool. Anyways, if I would fade, I am more of a blurring guy, I never figured out that gradient plugin.

If you have a lot of web space like I do PNG works just fine. As well it depends on the content of the image with what file type to use. I got to say this in graphic design class.. I use Paint.NET, and I am proud to be able to make the same quality images you can! Yay for Me!
