  1. You very well may be right. My mistake  I didn't realize there was MediaFire link in the first post.
  2. I was also seeing two instances of Weave and Lattice. The latest update (EdHarvey-Effects-Egregious-20070916.zip) fixed this problem. Thanks Ed.
  3. Yes, I do. I also like the idea of an "Anything goes..." theme. Although that wouldn't be much of a theme. :? I'll wait until sometime tonight (Saturday) before I decide on a theme. Most likely, I'll go along with the consensus of the forum.
  4. I would like to throw the "time" theme back into the hat. Any other suggestions? Ideas?
  5. Thanks for both of those links as I have been wanting to do video tutorials for some time now. As most of you are aware, I'm certainly not that good a writing tutorials.
  6. Sure you can. You just have to hit ENTER after every typed letter.
  7. A work-around would be to increase your canvas size on all sides to the point that when you run the effect, the effect would cover the area you want. Afterwards, you could crop the image so that it would be back at it's original size.
  8. Don't bump your thread like that. It's rude. Allow ample time for people to read and respond to your question. Try searching for: "Cutting out images" and "Making backgrounds transparent." You can use the built-in forum search and/or Searchpaint.net for all your search needs.
  9. Is your text color (primary color) the same as the color of the image? Has the Layer's Blend Mode been changed? Are you having this problem with all your fonts?
  10. A mock-up (static image) is all that is needed for an entry into the competition. Be sure to read the rules of competition before submitting your entry. Welcome to our forum And since you're new to our forum, I'd like to invite you to read the Rules Of The Forum just so that you are familiar with them.
  11. Back on top! Seriously though, thanks to all who voted for me. There were a lot of good-looking entries this time around. I know I had a hard time voting. I would also like to take this time and make CMD an honorary Co-Champion. Without Jerbert, there are no winners!
  12. Nice attention to detail, Sozo. Yours too, Ash. Your newest gem is so clean and crisp.
  13. Did the extension yield more votes? I was thinking that a poll might be useful in determining a tie break for runner-up. idk
  14. By way of the Clone Stamp Tool ( :CloneStamp: ). You can read about it here.
  15. Well, I made a special avatar for today: I also saw BuzzKill added a ribbon to his sig last night. That I did. I added it after noticing drakaan's sig. The ribbon (and many more like it) can be found using Google Image Search. I really like your avatar, CMD. The composition couldn't be better.
  16. Would I like to see you, MKT, stay active regarding Shape3D? Sure. It's a great plugin. Now, would I like to see you stay active regarding Shape3D at the cost of you being unhappy? Absolutely not. I say do what is best for you, MKT. That is all anyone can ask of you.
  17. If that doesn't work, you can... Create a new canvas with square dimensions, for example 400px x 400px, using the button located in the toolbar.
  18. The way that image was put together is pretty basic. Most of it is just blurred rectangles on independent layers. For instance, that blue glow behind the tube, all it is is a large filled rectangle that was blurred. The same goes for the thin drop shadow (behind the tube, in front of the glow). The edge of the tube is an outlined (not-filled) rectangle. The inside of the tube is a filled rectangle (not-blurred). The white shine in the middle of the tube is simple line that was blurred. The dots or "bubbles" were made using the brush tool, one by one. I had one layer for large bubbles and another for smaller bubbles. This was so I could change the opacity of them independently. That's pretty much it. I'd let you have a look at the .pdn of it but unfortunately, back then, I didn't save most of the things I created in .pdn format. I know, shame on me
