Are those plugins based on IndirectUI or are they custom?

When using the line tool, there are several line styles available to you: Unfortunately, there is no way to add custom line styles.

Yeah, 2 GB of RAM on a 32-bit system is going to be problematic.

Try using the Eraser tool Adjust the amount of the eraser by adjusting the opacity of the primary color.
