  1. How could you possibly repair the person's face when we don't have a clue what that person looks like?
  2. New shape added to first post. It will be included in my next plugin pack which will be out shortly.
  3. I don't recommend running the Paint.NET installer while it is still located inside of a zip file. Try unzipping that file to your desktop and execute it from there.
  4. Ctrl+Shift+R still opens the Canvas Resize box for me. Ctrl+R still opens the Resize box for me. Where is your mouse cursor when you press these keys?
  5. Basically, because Rick Brewster is the only person developing this app and the Editable Text feature hasn't bubbled up to the top of the list yet. In order to develop that feature, a lot of the code "under the hood" had to be revamped in preparation. That took place over the course of the last several major releases and so, that type of change can now happen. But, it will still be a while for Rick to get to this feature specifically. So, be patient.
  6. Try my plugin for Black and White + which has various methods of converting to B&W. Link in sig.
  7. You can launch the classic version or the store version using the paintdotnet protocol: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/paintdotnetProtocol.html
  8. Which OS are you on? Which .NET framework do you have installed? Which version of Paint.NET are you trying to install?
  9. What are you seeing that makes you think the ruler on the screen is not accurate?
  10. This thread is 12 years old. Please leave it alone.
  11. Just use the one you like and don't bother installing the rest.
  12. If memory serves... there was a plugin called "Interlace" or "Scanlines" or something like that. Then, you could use color balance to make the colors more blue. And, finally, reduce the size of your image.
  13. OK, that's an easy one: 1. Set your primary color to Black and your secondary color to Purple. 2. Use the magic wand with tolerance set to 0, shift click on the white area. 3. Press the Backspace key. (That should fill your white area with black.) 4. Press Ctrl+I to invert your selection. 5. Press the Shift+Backspace key. (That should fill your dots with purple.) ...and, you're done!
  14. I would recommend starting with any of the plugin packs that are pinned and starred in this forum: https://forums.getpaint.net/forum/44-plugin-packs/ Honestly, I can't imagine using Paint.NET without my plugin pack installed.
  15. This seems like something that could be handled by writing a plugin. Why not give that a try?
  16. New shape added to first post. It will be included in my next plugin pack which will be out shortly.
  17. When looking at the Effects or Adjustments menu and you see a little, green puzzle piece () you can uninstall that plugin by deleting the file shown in the tool tip (pointed to by the red arrow below):
  18. When you zoom out, no, there's nothing you can do. However, if you are resizing the image using the Image > Resize menu, you can choose the "Nearest neighbor" method and that should do the trick.
  19. This has nothing to do with Paint.NET and everything to do with your printer driver and how you setup your printer. I'm able to print in color. Here's how my printer's Advanced Options looks: You might want to check your printer's settings.
  20. Sounds like you have an existing paint.net installation that has become broken. Please use this utility to remove the broken installation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net anew.
  21. You're being awfully demanding for someone who's about to be banned. We are not here to do your work for you. We are only here to teach you how to get your work done--that includes workarounds or teaching YOU how to write a plugin. Please read the Forum Rules.
  22. This is the sort of entitled attitude that gets your request ignored.
