after resetting my password the login now worked - not the dll.

I run paint.net v 5,x under a current Windows 10 system. After eventually successing to download Your package, I selected the only wanted Creativ text pro.dll and pasted it into the effects folder. However, my paint.net 5 fails again to open it. All other plugins of the ffects folder appear. BTW, the installation manual seems to be years outdated. Moreover, You never know, if this edit is accepted and sent or not - no sign of reaction. Any idea? archlingo And now - "the e-mail address is in use by another member ??? Surely not. It is all extremely confused!!!

hello, devellopers, regrettably, I have the same problem exactly described (!) by Shingori, and regrettably, this has not been resolved here nor in the software. Since some weeks, in typical Ms misbehaviour, the tool windows leap everywhere except where you try to position them ;-( archlingo

Thanks for the helpful comments, in particular the two solutions: 1. The hovering is ok, but sometimes needs a second attempt. 2. Excluding the "Effects" - under the due cautions - from MS Defender is the perfect idea. (De blaseerte Buten-Hamborger shall sien Mul holn). archlingo

Hello, it is well-known that paint.net is loading/starting extremely slowly. Reason are the hundreds (!) of plugins, insufficiently described, and therefore partly overlapping with often several others. Example: I find two plugins for '"flip" - even one for horizontal and one for vertical - completely unnecessary because already contained in the program under "picture". Deleting a "Flip.dll" did not change anything (!). Because of their cryptic names it is nearly impossible to identify the dll in order to delete them. It is a pity. We URGENTLY need a better list with 1- A clear and understandable description of the purpose 2- AND the name appearing in the program 3- AND the name of the dll (or other ending). This is true but the easy case and not solving my question, in which case the dll notification does NOT appear. Again, in my "Photo/Foto case even the term does not appear in in the whole source, even seeking with AgentRansack. archlingo

hello, HUNDREDS of add-ons and plug-ins extremely slow down the loading time of my paint.net. Many of these I never loaded being exactly informed about their content. This is, e.g., the case with the effect "photo.../Foto" However, there is no dll or exe with that name in the whole data set and the programmers do not betray the user how to deinstall their unusable programs. At a page about installing addons/plugins there is neither the desired impressum not an hint for deinstalling. It is a pity! Any help welcome and I bet I am not the only one archlingo

Hello experts, I need my three special, self-designed pixel font in *.fon-format, installed on my windows 10, which is visible in the Windows Font folder, also deployed in "FontViewer", (and, under Windows 7, by Micrografx PicturePublisher). Regrettably, Paint.net ignores this one and other pixel fonts. Is there ane solution in sight? Thanks in advance, archlingo

"Paint.net uses the fonts you have installed to windows. " It does not use an of three *.FNT"-Fonts, installed and shown in the Windows 10 Fonts list. archlingo
