  1. None of these were created in Paint.NET This forum is for showing off work created in Paint.NET. Don't be a poser. Label your work correctly.
  2. The best way to use it is this way: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4841
  3. Drop Shadow is a plugin. You can download it here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22881
  4. Take your sick images to the hospital: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=22617
  5. Not possible. Sorry. As you said, it is automatically generated.
  6. You probably could have found the solution if you had used search... Anyway, this is a known issue. But, there is an easy workaround. Your cursor doesn't have to be inside of a selection in order to move it. Just move your cursor outside of the selection and look for the mouse pointer to change to the black filled triangle instead of the hand.
  7. Drop Shadow requires some transparent area around your object in order to put the shadow in. So, be sure the layer you're working on has some transparent area.
  8. Maybe you should put a reminder to them in your signature.
  9. freetrial, I'm glad it worked out! Rick, I have confirmed that "Windows > Reset window locations" does not also reset the floating window sizes back to default. Shouldn't it also do this?
  10. Can you resize these windows by hand? If not, show us a screenshot.
  11. How about... Windows > Reset window locations :?:
  12. Mostly. You can do the individual images in Paint.NET quite easily. Then, you will need an external program to create the animation. Do a search for "Unfreeze" and you should be all set.
  13. One of the features of Paint.NET version 4.0 (which Rick is working on right now) is a new memory manager which will allow it to load bigger images and add more layers.
  14. Simon Brown was meaning to say... "In the future, try this..." For now, you'll need to learn how to use the Clone stamp tool to get rid of the old text before using the text tool to make some new text. If you don't know how to use the clone stamp tool, try pressing F1 while in Paint.NET
  15. OK, now that that's taken care of... The best way to fix a misspelling, is to keep your text on a separate layer so that you can delete it easily and start again. Always be sure to save your original layered source files. Now, if you didn't save the original... *sigh* you better learn how to use the clone stamp tool.
  16. Read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3446 Specifically #6. Then, fix your problem.
  17. Please read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3446 Specifically #6. Learn it. Live it. Love it.

  19. Sounds like an opportunity for you to make Sepia+ Actually, if you think about it, Soften Portrait is really Sepia+
  20. Remember, you only need to check True Type Fonts (.ttf). Good luck!
  21. More likely, one of your font files is bad and that is causing Paint.NET to crash. I recommend uninstalling all non-standard fonts, add them back one-by-one to see which one is causing Paint.NET to crash.
  22. If you are talking about the color wheel docker window, try Window > Reset window locations Or, if you see that window, but not the Transparency - Alpha slider, click the "More >>" button. That said, if you want to adjust the Transparency of an entire layer, press F4 and adjust the Opacity slider. Or, if you want to adjust the Transparency of just your current selection, you can download my plugin pack which includes an Adjustment plugin that you'll love.
