  1. My Hue/Saturation+ can erase colors by adjusting the alpha slider all the way to the left.
  2. No one here can help you. This message board is dedicated to paint.net, a graphics program. We can't help with audio files.
  3. There is a plugin in my plugin pack that will do it: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28556-fill-from-file-fill-from-clipboard-for-3511-updated-june-22-2014/ Hope this helps.
  4. You may try to reinstall again (I know, sounds silly, but...) this will cause ngen to run again and precompile paint.net for faster loading times.
  5. How long is "a while"? How long did it take before and how long now? Have you added any new plugins?
  6. 1. They only slow down the loading of the program. After loaded, paint.net will run full speed no matter how many plugins are installed. 2. You should only install the plugins that you plan on using. Having too many plugins just confuses most users as the menus become very full. 3. No. 4. Paint.net will run better on a faster computer, sure. But, what it really benefits from is more cores. So, a quad core CPU will run paint.net twice as fast as a dual core CPU. Paint.net will also benefit greatly from increased memory. Paint.net will run on 1 GB of memory, but 4, 8, or even 16 GB is much better.
  7. It looks to me that the files became corrupt and that is the reason for the streaks. I don't think you'll be able to save the images. Sorry. If these images were taken on a camera with a memory card, it may be wise to plugin the memory card to your laptop and run a memory scan on the memory card.
  8. Just curious, did you download the paint.net package from the upper right corner of this page? http://www.dotpdn.com/downloads/pdn.html If not, please download it again and try again.
  9. You have downloaded a virus. More info here: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28270-megalo-virus/
  10. That's not possible. (Well, filetype plugins can do it during the save process, but that's it.) Read this: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/14566-what-is-and-isnt-possible-when-writing-plugins/
  11. Find your computer icon, right click on it and choose 'properties' from the menu. Show us that screen.
  12. Try my Effects > Fill > From Clipboard plugin. Which does it load?
  13. More info here: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/8665-galleria-the-paintnet-art-gallery/?p=164214
  14. Paint.NET is a raster graphic editor. If you need a vector editor, perhaps you should look at inkscape.
  15. Plugins can't do that. Sorry. But, closing an open image is as easy as clicking on the "X" on the image thumbnail.
  16. The auto level settings can not be modified. Thus the name "auto", as in automatic (without user intervention). If you want to have better control over photo adjustments, install my plugin pack: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/28488- Hope this helps.
  17. Press F8 to toggle the Color Docker window's visibility. Or, press the :AllColorChannels: button in the upper right corner of the paint.net window.
  18. I would encourage you to add it to your plugin. That's why I said that there's always room for improvement.
  19. This has been done before. Of course, there is always room for improvement. http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=16197 Enjoy.
  20. Adding the plumb bob capability to the plugin only consisted in adding the following code after calculating the raw angle measurement: if (!(((angle > -45) && (angle < 45)) || ((angle > -225) && (angle < -135)))) { angle += 90; }That's it.Sometimes requested changes are easy, sometimes they are hard. This time it was the former.
  21. Great idea! I have added the Plumb Bob capability to the plugin while waiting in line at the DMV. Go get your fresh copy! NOTE: I'm done updating this. User midora is working on a better version of this plugin. Go download his when it is ready. ______________
  22. Mine should only tide people over until yours is finished. Thanks for the inspiration. Yours is looking great so far!
