  1. That sounds like a cool Idea, it would require the index to be populated with keywords. I think Ego's current project maybe a too little time consuming to start down that road. But it's food for thought. By the way the next update will include the Built-ins as well as the Plug-ins and has some timing adjustments. Thanks for the suggestions.
  2. Barbieq25, Cc4FuzzyHuggles, midora ,DrewDale, skullbonz, Cc4FuzzyHuggles, nitenurse79, Pratyush, sashwilko , mottoman I'm sure I speak for all the Dwarves when I say thank you for your comments in makes all the work worth it.
  3. A Plugin Browser? Actually that was a topic of much discussion, we'll have to reconvine on that issue.
  4. Maybe - Considering the function it was in at the time of the exception and that It's runs the effects in a seperate thread.
  5. What plugin were you trying to run? I need to know to reproduce error.
  6. We know , but not every plugin includes a PluginSupportInfo class and we wrote the plugin to be CodeLab 2.0 Tool Tip compatible. AssemblyConfiguration is where you should look for keywords. AssemblyDescription is where you should look for a short description of the effect. AssemblyTitle is a description of the file. AssemblyCompany is the author's name. AssemblyProduct is the filename.
  7. Plugin Browser (PB) makes no use of internal unpublished PDN routines, it interacts with the plugins directly through known published subroutines (SetRenderinfo and Render) , we called this Launch by Proxy. This is why no internal effects appear in the list.Rick Brewster was made aware of our intentions and he was given a chance to view the source code as it progressed. The information about the plugin is gathered from the plugin's AssemblyConfigurationAttributes, the plugin's Assembly properties and the plugin's FileVesionInfo. These are always available. PluginSupportInfo, since it may or may not be present is only used for the Author's website.
  8. It has been an honor to work with this creative bunch. Dwarves!
  9. MODERATORS NOTE: this plugin has been superseded by a newer version: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/110458-the-plugin-browser-v1211-june-30-2018/ The Plugin Browser by The Dwarf Horde Rob Tauler, John Robbins, David Issel & Scott Stringer aka TechnoRobbo, Red Ochre, BoltBait and Ego Eram Reputo Version 1.0.4.+ The Plugin Browser plugin was designed to make plugins easier to locate and identify, especially when a large collection of plugins is installed. The Plugin Browser plugin does this by allowing the User to search alphabetically by plugin name, keyword(s), author or menu location. Included in these searches are the Plugin Title and Description. Once you find a plugin, you can run it right from inside of the Plugin Browser. Plugin Browser plugin gives the User the ability to Bookmark their favorite plugins and add their comments to bookmarked plugins so they can identify it and make notes about its use. As well as being a search tool, the Plugin Browser is capable of displaying an embedded image which we call the Preview Image. The idea of the Preview Image is to give the User a visual clue to the plugin’s function. In most cases the Preview Image will be an example of the effect or adjustment. The Plugin Browser will also suggest plugins that you don't have but may want to download. Once a month the Plugin Browser connects to the paint.net forum and downloads a copy of the Plugin Index. This file is used to match keyword searches against plugins by parsing the plugin descriptions from the Index. You will receive a prompt before the download goes ahead. 12. Thank you ftlog666. I have uploaded version 1.0.3. This build removes some of the limits I imposed on the code so the users can create some fractal / Fibonacci madness. Settings: Size 500, Spread 500, Height 1000,Complexity 30, Coverage 0, (Resist) Gravity 0, Taper 905 & Random 530 Enjoy watching it work.
  13. I'm not the subject matter expert here, but, I don't think that's a bug, I think that was a fix for rounding errors that occurred when your mouse was on a half pixel and the result was distorted (a snap to grid). Left is the mouse on the grid , right is the mouse inbetween grid PDN 3.5 PDN 4.0 Also a non- antialiased brush is a pencil and pencils don't exhibit the grid correction(snap), so I would suggest using pencil when you need no AA. Lastly - this should be posted in the bug report section (moderators, need help here).
  14. That doesn't appear to be very high. Even 25% seems low and that's probably transitional. But if you consider it an issue you should post in the CodeLab thread http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/880-codelab-for-advanced-users-v20-released-june-23-2014/?p=411659
  15. Excellent!! Thank you for your tireless effort and the continuous improvements.
  16. The first time you shoot the deer, use a 12 gauge. The second time should be lots easier.

  21. Very impressive Sasha - still out of reps I'll get you later. Official REP IOU Value - 1 Rep May not be sold or transferred under penalty of law Seeing how people are using the plugin as a tool as much as a simulator I've made some changes that will allow some wild variations, look for the update in about later today (my time CDT).
