PJS 1
Hi been using Paint for a few months with great results, but i'm having problems trying to get font sizes to fit a page i.e. A4, i set the canvas size dpi etc, but can't get for example the the letter H in Stencil font to fit to the page without selecting it and stretching it manually which makes it not look correct, the font size won't go past 288. Any help would be great

PJS 1
Hi Klaxxon, Thanks for the info, but i either can't see the manual input box or i haven't got it, for text i go to the effects section and write text from there, it only goes upto 288, i've tried putting a size in the box by taking out the 288 from the box and replacing with a higher value but it doesn't do anything. mmm what am i doing wrong ? Cheers P
Pixey
Hi PJS and Welcome. The font size only goes to 288. Any larger and you will have to rectangle select and stretch it accordingly. Here is a little info on font size and printing - please read this thread. Red ochre
PJS1 - welcome to forum,Klaxxon is correct.1.Add a new layer (not required but good practice) using this icon. :AddNewLayer:(bottom of the layers window)2.In the Tools window on the left click the letter T icon. 3.Then in the top menu bar you will see the font and font size. Click on the size, enter the new larger size.4.Then click on the canvas again and enter your text. I have just used Arial at 400 pt, so it can be done! (you could also use Pixey's method - press shift when resizing to keep the aspect ratio of the text) Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. klaxxon
I did a test and I did not resize the character and I did not change the resolution. Is 96 dpi default. The printed result is very good. Edited October 10, 2013 by klaxxon
