Rubrica
I'm probably getting the whole wrong idea with this, but how about a font?

Helio
Thank you, sabrown. I'll keep those in mind and add them in future polls. Except that getpaint.com has already been done. Crazy Man Dan
...Except that getpaint.com has already been done. I remember that one... That was back when I was still able to compete in these things. I think I remember winning that one. Mike Ryan
I think we need to do something much more challenging, and extend it to a one and half month time limit with an actual reward, perhaps like a special rank or something. What that more challenging is is beyond me. Perhaps we have to make up our own dream application, skin it, list off its features, and then vote. Helio
Well, seeing as there is currently a six-way tie, how about we skin all six? C'mon! More votes! Simon Brown
there is currently a six-way tie That usually means there are no killer ideas. Why not add some of the suggested options to the poll? Failing that we could do the first competition again - how many entrants of that still enter these competitions?
Helio
Or that they're all killer ideas. Quote v An excellent open–source strategy game—highly recommended. Simon Brown
As I have said before - I don't think skinning a car is on-topic for this competition.
Rubrica
By the way, when I said a font, just to clarify, I didn't mean "make a font", I meant"choose a font and edit it, possibly to make it follow a theme".

Rubrica
Good points. OK, "create a new font following a theme". How's that?
Simon Brown
Good points. OK, "create a new font following a theme". How's that? Although we don't have to make a font file? Also, not really the same as skinning.
Helio
Sorry, Rubrica. It's a nice idea, but I don't think Paint.NET is a great program for it. Rubrica
Fair point, although I don't just mean "make a template in black and white", you could do all sorts with it, add colour, drop shadows, emboss it, all sorts, I tell you! But if it's not right for PDN, then it's not right. Also, Simon, no, we would not.
Mike Ryan
I still think making your own program and making it in Paint.NET would be a great way to do a tenth anniversary. I mean, ten months (twelve if you count voting and such nonsense)!

Mike Ryan
Yeah, you have to make it up all by yourself. A killer app, if you will.
Stephan
I suggest a media player. (as in an iPod or Zune.) It allows for nice GUI's, and something (Possibly 3d) around it.

Stephan
15 at least You also have to include a fully rotating model with textures of at least 4k by 4k* pixels! In flash! *4096x4096
