hanneserixon Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 I can't recolor white to transparent with the recolor tool, is this a bug? is there any other way to do it? :?:
ShimmeryDaze Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 You can't recolor any color to transparent. Any color you try to turn transparent using the recolor tool will turn white instead. I've tried it too.
Crazy Man Dan Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Yeah, it looks like the recolor tool ignores Alpha. That'd be cool if Rick 'n the gang could get it to factor in Alpha, but I'm not sure what that'd take... Techineer Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Yeah, it looks like the recolor tool ignores Alpha. That'd be cool if Rick 'n the gang could get it to factor in Alpha, but I'm not sure what that'd take... Try using the Magic Wand to capture the area you want to turn transparent. Then hit delete. Use the Shift key with the magic wand to select all areas in the image with that color. Adjust Threshhold to determine how specific you want the color selection to be. Alternately, use recolor to change the unwanted color to something really odd, like neon purple, then use the Magic Wand as above on the odd color.
