HELEN Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Is there any way I can create cartoons so they'd be animated like in Adobe Flash? Okay, so maybe that will be too hard or will be impossible, but is there a way to make my cartoons professional-looking? You know, kind of like Disney cartoons and so on. david.atwell Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Paint.NET is not an animation program, I'm sorry. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
HELEN Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Okay, so it's not an animation program, but how would I make my graphics colorful like in Disney cartoons? I need this for my website. Thanks. Quote Don't spit into the well, you might drink from it later. -----Yiddish ProverbGlossy Galaxy Ball---How to Make FoliageMy Gallery PDN Fans--My DA
BoltBait Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I would recommend hiring someone from Disney who draws those things for a living. Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
Hellfire010 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Paint Bucket? I don't understand what you mean by "colorful like disney cartoons." Are they not colored with ... color? The only other things I can suggest is using the magic wand + linear and radial gradients. And, perhaps try to find a color pallet resembling brighter colors often used in disney cartoons. Quote

Ouch...and, ouch! @ Hlnl, any examples of what you are looking to do? I know Leif uses PdN to trace Simpson's screenshots with great results... Leif Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 A fellow Simpson fan wrote a small tutorial: http://krustofski.com/bongo/content.php?page=grabpics Only comment from me is use the Bézier curve. If you have hand drawn graphics you can scan them and do the same. You can se some of my work on my Deviant Art. And thanks barkbark00. ;-) Quote My DA: http://leif-j.deviantart.com/ -------------- Some people seek justice so persistent, that they will do great injustice themselves.
HELEN Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Thank you so much! That's what I meant. I want my graphics like Leif's. And thank you ALL for answering!
