Mr Frojo
Cant you just flatten the image, save, then undo the flatten? Quote I'm still alive!
Myrddin
Mr Frojo is right, that would be the solution as the .png format cannot handle layers. Not really related to the subject in hand, but the final release of Paint.NET 3.10 is available now. Betas are *so* yesterday . That last line made me laugh. david.atwell
Betas are *so* yesterday . More specifically, they're *so* two weeks ago. :-D Quote  The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
jpope
Exception details: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. After seeing this line I'd probably run scandisk to make sure that there is nothing wrong with your memory. There could be a problem there but, I'm no expert. Maybe someone else can chime in here...
Rick Brewster
My guess is you used a plugin beforehand that has bugs in it.
