  1. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get it right. I can go up to step 4. Then step 5 comes out odd, and step 6 doesn't work at all. I've tried this many times and none of the times it ever works. Though, I used to be able to do the old tutorial.
  2. It won't run, nor will it upgrade. I had the alpha version, and now I'm trying to download the most recent one. I get "Fatal error during installation (1603)" I tried downloading it twice. If I click on it it won't run. It says... "There are some missing important installation file types FileTypes\DdsFileType.dll" When I try to repair it, it says "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM..." I'm running Vista 32bit if that helps.
  3. Something with shading of the Start menu like this: Notice the tiny light effect surrounding the top and the fading dark effect towards the bottom. The reason I want this is because I'm somewhat sick of the gloss effect on everything, I want to do something in XP style.
  4. Well, almost everything has a gloss effect on it, and I want to know if anyone can make a tutorial to do XP style shading for those people who want to be different.
  5. I just made the coolest sig ever: (Oh and BTW I'm back too)
  6. Maybe it would work if you could actually type...or if anyone could understand you...
  7. Wikipedia was updated by an idiot 5 second ago. (I don't mean you, I mean that anyone, at anytime, can update Wikipedia) Anyway, your little constructiveness didn't sound peaceful. Ah well.
  8. You can't threaten someone on the intarwebs... That didn't even sound like constructive criticism.
  9. 1. I didn't intend that 2. Yes it does, even though its kinda scrunched in there 3. My point wasn't to emphasis the logo. Yes, it looks kind bland in done in a minute, but hey...Google's been up for years and they stuck with the same bland text. Thanks for the critization. Don't make me do yours. x_x
  10. I already submitted mine. Here it is: Maybe it's a bit too glossy...
  11. Here is mine, I call it "New Google Orahay!" Google, and google logo is copyright of Yahoo, wait, no Google... Google logo from: http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif

  13. Yeah, it looks like it can be done a lot better. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just that if you re-wrote it now, it would be easier to do and understand.
  14. The third one down is kinda cool. How did you do it?
  15. Actually, if you read the rules, max avatar size is 120x160 (WxH). Yep, I just remembered that.
  16. Thanks, I just made it using the whirlpool effect. Do you think I should make a tutorial?
  17. They do? Wow, I never noticed. I'm kinda mad I had to resize it to 64x64.
  18. Well, I'm trying to make a userbar and I'm having trouble making a 1px strike with the font Visitor TT2 (BRK). I'm pretty sure this means to give it a black outline filled with white, but for me the text is not filled and it's just a black outline. So, if you please, can you help me make it filled with a white outline?
