"brushes" support

Recommended Posts

Comparing paint.NET to Photoshop, gimp there is no support for brushes. Well of course you could go into the programs and do it but I hate gimp every time i try using it it sucks.

So I think that paint.NET should support brushes (abr format?) And to put it in simple as i can think would be a toolbox icon for brushes, click what set you want to open and it shows you them, when you insert one it is a selected move able picture.

Does anyone else think brushes are a good idea

Yes, in fact, many people think this is a good idea. Search next time, and you'll see.

I just wish Rick would put this into the Popular Feature Requests thread so people would stop requesting it... I'd do it, but I'm not sure if it's my place.. <_<

It's not on there? This is one of the most requested thing yet...

EDIT: 500th post :D

Without being hunted down by the other forum members, you could try The GIMP if you're really desperate for brushes, customised or otherwise.

I'm a firm believer in using the right tool for the job.

If he NEEDS brush support, Paint.NET is not the right tool for his job... at the moment. Come 4.0, that may change. 8)
