oma
[/img] so here is the thing I'm needing some lace for an edging on a picture this is what I've got made so far. and yes I will be changing the color to white this pink is just so the steps show up. so what do I do from here? really needs a spruce up. steps so far background black add a transparent layer on transparent layer draw 20 pt line in pink/will be white when I figure this out then change to webdings 2 text size 36 type the letters abcdabcd then delete black background but its not looking done. Ideas anyone? change Quote My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery

oma
excellent madjick that's a great font. have downloaded and will make extensive use of this. Ash that's looking interesting. I can see a bit of the grid pattern inthere did you use rotate to move to diamond pattern. I'm positive knowing your work that you've used some fancy distorts, and some plug ins that will be new to me. do tell Quote My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery
Ash
Mini tut I guess 8) 4 layers. Change Canvas to 800x600 Background (bottom) Layer: Fill backfround with dark color so you can see the white lace. Top Layer: Your design (in center of 800x600 canvas) 2nd Layer : Primary color white--Grid Line(5x5, Foreground only, Center on cross)--Rotate 45 degrees--Tube Oblique(V=-500)--Drop Shadow(Default) 3rd Layer: Primary color white--Grid Line(15x15, Foreground only, Center on cross)--Frosted glass(Default)--Kaleidoscope(Default) Crop image to your liking. Hope this helps Quote All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
oma
[/img] thanks ASH I'll explore that route a bit more ! knew you had some rotation and the grid but as always you take it to the limit....and might I say with great results. here is some quick work up I did on this (early stages..only had one cup of coffee so far this morning. Ash
You are welcome You might wanna try Align Object Plugin if you havn't already. If you put your object in the center of Canvas, when you do Lens or many of the Distorts, you will get a more Symmetrical shape. (like that heart shape you used lens, and the watch/ring base) Unless you were going for the Asymmetrical shape. Hope this helps 8) Quote All creations Ash + Paint.NET [ Googlepage | deviantArt | Club PDN | PDN Fan ]
