tdyen
This is a suggestion When you paste a large image into paint.net it pops up with an Expand Canvas dialog. If this had a setting to automatically do one of the options expand the canvas or keep canvas size (which you could change or turn on or off) it would save one extra click. Mayeb its a drop down in the settings window Expand Canvas Keep Canvas Size Pop Up option dialog
Ego Eram Reputo
You are getting the "Canvas Size" dialog because a canvas is already open which is smaller than the clipboard image. You can avoid the prompt by using Edit > Paste in to a New Image (keyboard shortcut : Ctrl + Alt + V). This command automatically creates a new image the same size as the clipboard image - hence there is no need to resize. Rick Brewster
Why bother clicking on anything? Keyboard is way faster. Ctrl + V, Enter This does exactly what you need. I am not going to add a setting for this. And also look at EER's suggesting of considering Edit -> Paste into New Image (Ctrl + Alt + V).
