Picture effect

Give us a sample picture... and an example of how you want the final to look.

The reason I ask, is that "pencil art" is a fairly wide topic. Colored pencil? No 2 pencil?... etc.

Do you want a smooth sketch, or a rough sketch type effect?

i want it like a number 2 pencil black and white but if the tutorial just has color thats ok, and i want it kinda like a wanted poster or a police sketch

Try this:

Duplicate the background layer two (2) times.

Set all of their blending modes to multiply

On one of them, use the toon filter [in Picc84's post

On another, use the outline effect (fine-tune to your own desire)

*Options*

Leave the other alone and save it

~or~

Duplicate the one that hasn't been touched, use the emboss effect, and set the blending on either multiply or glow (or whatever works).
