david.atwell Posted April 9, 2014 Share Posted April 9, 2014 The trick with lasers and lightsabers is that the center is white and the glow is colored, not the other way around. Create a thick white line on its own layer, then duplicate that layer. On the bottom layer, flood fill the white line with whatever color you want the laser to be, then run Gaussian Blur at a very high value. If you mess around with some layer blend modes, you'll be able to get a nice realistic-looking effect. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
