minespatch
I've recently been loving the 'fill color' tool right next to the brush width choice. So I've been wondering, why hasn't anyone tried tooling around with brushes in that particular area? Adding brushes there would be so much easier than adding a plug-in for effects. Just sayin'. Ego Eram Reputo
The tools are out of bounds to third party developers. Changes here would be up to the Developer - who is very busy on Paint.NET 4.0. Expect more tools and toys in the next version Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
minespatch
I've been awaiting the 4.0 update for quite a while now. Very excited. Though I hope in the future there's a chance for us to install textures into the fill tool selection bar. It's such a nifty tool in the paint program. Ego Eram Reputo
Actually, at one stage Rick was contemplating removing the fill types. Rick Brewster
It has been largely removed from 4.0, yes. You can still use it with the Paint Bucket and Shapes, but not with brushes or Text. minespatch
Oh, that's a shame. I rather like the fill tool, but I guess you have reasons.
Rick Brewster
("Fill" isn't a tool. It's a setting on the tool you're using) Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
