Best way to rotoscope in paint.net?

To be honest, I wasn't aware of what you were talking about, so I had to go looked it up.

I've come up with 2 possibilities:

The first result was done using the "Dream" plugin.

The second was done by combined plugin effects from first applying "Oil Painting" and then applying the "Dream" plugin.

The Dream plugin is found in BoltBait's Plugin Pack:

I don't know if it's quite what you're looking for, but I figured it was worth a try.

I would of thought just using EFFECTS>ARTISTIC>INK SKETCH would be the way to go.

A few variations done by duplicating the image and running ink sketch on it and reducing opacity and also turning top layer B&W running ink sketch and then running alphamask at default or inverted.

If the example that Minners71 gave is close to the result you're looking for, then also have a look at the Toon Filter plugin: http://forums.getpai...71-toon-filter/

(nice subject choice Jim!)
