aatwo
I dont know if this was present in older versions of paint.net but If you use the scroll wheel in the font list it really goes crazy. It still works but it's very hard to follow the list since the font you are looking at speeds down the list and off the screen, only to appear back where it should be. Illnab1024
That's just .NET's way of scrolling a list...Try changing your refresh rate... Quote ~~
Rick Brewster
Mabye you have the smooth scrolling stuff turned on. It's a Windows setting. I always turn off all that animation garbage. aatwo
Oh right fair enough. I dunno how to turn that stuff off but at least it's just me. Quote Deviant Art Gallery

aatwo
nah that was the first place I tried but I didn't find anythig about smooth scrolling or anything like that. It's no big deal. I just thought I'd point it out. While I'm here, is it just me that is unable to use the delete button in places like the font size form? Picc84
Why would you want to use the Delete Button in the Font Size Form? While you can Highlight and Backspace? otherthan that, nope, i cannot use it eather
Bob
Will not open a thread for this, but thanks to you I found a little bug: you can draw without any brush width selected (dropdown have red background). you may display it the last selected width per example. Same with font size. @aatwo, smooth scrolling may be in Control Panel > System > Advanced (tab) > Performance Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
Rick Brewster
Bob, that's by design. By design we use the last valid brush size you had entered there. Bob
I know, that's not what I wanted to explain: you may display it the last selected width per example. Huh! I see, what a bad english. I try to say that if you deselect this dropdown, by drawing on the canvas for example, I will be preferable that the control doesn't remain red but show the last valid value. Yeah it's very trivial, sorry . Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio

barkbark00
Would it be possible to make the font list drop down work like the layer blending modes drop down, where you click it once and it expands the list, click it again and it retracts the list but the current selection is still selected and you can scroll through each option one by one?
