xZxR4V3NxZx
I've got a simple and quick question. I've downloaded some font's from http://www.1001freefonts.com and i'd like to use them on images using the text option on paint.net. But i don't know where to put them, tried putting them in the effects part but it didn't work. Anyone mind helping me out here? xZxR4V3NxZx
It's still not working and i am using windows 7 veanna or whatever it's called. But i restarted, tried removing and readding them. But nothing works, won't show up on paint.net or normal word pad. I wish this would work because i need one of the fonts for my banner. Lance McKnight
There Mr.Picky, happy now? With an attitude like that, that's a surefire way to get your thread locked. Anyway, have you unzipped the fonts, installed it to the Font directory, shut down PDN and restart it? I know that v3.5.2 has the ability to automatically detect new fonts without having to shut down and restart PDN. Officially retired from this forum. Have a nice day. xZxR4V3NxZx
Let them lock it. He can't take a small sarcastic Joke then oh well. Yes i unzipped it and placed it in the font directory. I also have the newest version of PDN. So i don't know whats going on with it. I've done all i can think of and its still being stupid. rtargo20
I was having same problems with VISTA OS and wrote the contact for help. Here's the reply from person named "Jason" and it worked to install the fonts. After downloading your font, UnZip the font, then right-click on the font file and chose INSTALL. This does work and I wonder how it works but, whatever, work goes on and many thanks to Jason. Is it me --or do buffalo wings taste like chicken? xZxR4V3NxZx
I shall give that a shot. Edit: I tried and when i right clicked on the file it had no option to "Install". All the files i am trying to use are TTFF. True Type Font File. VampireFreaks.com HTML/CSS Designer
Sarkut
If you haven't already done so, posting the problem at a Windows 7 tech support forum might give you better odds of success. The fact that they don't show up in WordPad points to an operating system problem more than a Paint.NET problem.
xZxR4V3NxZx
I've posted with them and haven't gotten a response in about a week. So thats how come i came here, figuring it might be solved here. Can't Blame me for trying though lol. VampireFreaks.com HTML/CSS Designer
rtargo20
In font main page at, http://www.1001freefonts.com, click the "Contact" button and tell them what your operating system is....seems Windows 7 does have a few issues. Jason replied to me very shortly after submitting my question. Is it me --or do buffalo wings taste like chicken?
Rick Brewster
I think I will go ahead and lock this then It's one thing to skip past the rules. It's another thing to be grouchy about it when I politely call you on one of them.
