linus
It should be a help in implementing the smudge tool in my application, I saw an example of how pyrochild wrote a plugin for paint.net, I tried to connect the dll to my project and use but nothing happened. If anyone else can help, I shall be grateful. Because I honestly have no idea with which to implement this tool.
barbieq25
I am having some problems understanding exactly what you mean. Did you put a copy of the .dll in your Effects folder, in your program files? Did you re-start PaintNet after you put it in the folder? If this is not what you are asking, do you need to know how to use the Smudge tool? That I am not too sure about myself. I have only used it once or twice & the results were not that good. I would suggest having a search for tutes that use the smudge tool. Sorry that I cannot help you more. I hope someone else can help? Knowledge is no burden to carry. Smudge was only intended to be used with Paint.NET. If you want to know how Pyrochild implemented it, I suggest contacting him directly.
pyrochild
This is not what I used to implement mine, but it looks helpful. Also, GIMP is open source and has a smudge tool (though it looks like bloody potato). http://losingfight.com/blog/2007/09/04/ ... amp-tools/ ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
