Dutch Man Dann
Well as long as I have been here I don't feel like I have gotten better at making PdN images. So I was just wondering if people had some tips or suggestions on how to get better at PdNing. Thanks for all the help, SS. Ouchy_S
Look at plenty of tutorials. There are other great tutorials out there other than in PDN forums. Explore a little! Go onto deviantART, and search for Sig Tut on all time, you should get a good few there, hopefully. Quote My deviantART | My Gallery

Boude
practice makes perfect, make something good post it on the forum and follow the criticism, which is hopefully constructive. St.Jim
Try to do something like fire, water, ice etc. in Paint.NET without resources. I've had a try at making some ice (very very basic) try not to just use effects but also blend layers and other elements of PDN. Here's my try: Quote My DeviantArt
Urnemanden
When i finish a work, or need comments or feedback on something i dont feel is acceptable, i always post a topic, where i explain what i did, and ask what people think. Sharing information is the best way to get information back. EDIT: Cool, i really like your result. How did you do it? Dutch Man Dann
I think one of my main problems is I don't fully understand what everything does on PdN, like the layer blend options and all that. Just use shape 3d and render a square set to hte angle i used, then median it so its rounded edges and render annother cube inside of it and jsut change th blend layers.
