startreksuite Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 I am trying to get a lego font to work, and it's true type. It only seems to show up in paintstar, and have restarted pdn several times, to no avail. Any reason for this to occur, or solution other than copy and pasting with classic Paint? :? becauseilearn Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Is it the Lego System Font from Dafont.com? I downloaded it and then ran the font installer from the classic view on my control panel (WinXP SP3) . Paint.NET saw the font and I was able to use it. So is it possible that you have to install the font on your system? Quote

Ego Eram Reputo Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Sounds like the font might not be installed properly. startreksuite Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 Sounds like the font might not be installed properly. This tutorial might help with the installation issue: viewtopic.php?p=23856#p23856 This is not the lego system font, I have this showing up in pdn. My issue is with the lego thick font, which is the font lego uses for their product. When using paintstar, it shows up as an optional font, and works perfectly. This is why I thought I properly installed it, and got it off typenow.net. I have installed igloolaser and other fonts which did show up in pdn. I will try hitman x's tutorial to make sure. becauseilearn Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I have the same problem with that font. It is installed properly on my system. I wonder if it is due to it not being a "complete" font? Look at the font and then look at another and you'll see a clear difference. Quote

Myrddin Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I wonder if it is due to it not being a "complete" font?If I'm correctly understanding you, then no. I used to have a font that consisted of only ten characters, which is considerably less than the English alphabet alone without punctuation marks.Also... becauseilearn Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Eh, then I am at a loss as to why this font has this issue. There are no errors being thrown by PDN, other programs allow the font to be used. This is odd. Quote
