[flip]
What exactly is 100% PDN? What are the things you shouldn't use if you want it to be 100% PDN... I know that clouds aren't 100%, and most renders, but what about blurs? Quote My Gallery

[flip]
Like, some people are showing off their pics. They say it's 100% PDN. What makes things 100% PDN? I know you shouldn't use renders and stuff like that, but what exactly? Quote My Gallery
Leif
It just means that no other drawing, or image manipulation program then paint.NET has been used. [flip]
Oh, really? But, it's still not that of an amazing picture of you use clouds though, right? Quote My Gallery
oma
but it depends on your use of clouds., and what you combine with it. I used clouds in the texture of the buildings behind my camel. This sure doesn't look like just clouds. Infact clouds alone should seldom be used. That's just a starting point. ciao Quote My Deviant Art Gallery Oma's Paint.Net gallery
Goonfella
Yes I agree. For example my `Old Photo' could not be considered 100% PDN because I needed to use a photo to start even though all the work was done in PDN , whereas my apples are 100% PDN as nothing was brought in from outside the program. PyroTechniques
Renders are allowable, and the piece is still technically "100% PDN" even if all you did was render something. However, a render should just be your starting point, i.e., I use clouds as the starting point for my signature. Quote Photobucket Sucks!
[flip]
Oh. Well, thanks everyone. Yeah, once I made a picture of the moon, and I used the "smoke" render, then turned it black and white as my starting point. It turned out pretty well... Anyway, yeah...
