*.jpg files don't support transparency. Try saving the file as a *.gif

...or .PNG, as that format supports partial transparency. :-)

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Use PNG. It will look just fine.

PDN files can only be displayed in Paint.NET. You have to save in PNG to retain transparency and translucency.

Do you mean that the shadow in the image isn't coming out properly when you cut it out?

If that's the case, I can't think of too many solutions to solve that. :?

One guess would be to get just the letters by themselves and then use a drop shadow. Or use the primary color difference to Alpha plugin with the primary color as black, and then duplicate the layer a few times.

Still stuck. My mistake in earlier post - it is png but still messed up.

?'s

How to remove the current shadows.

How to get Alpha plugin

How to add drop shadow back.

Or may be time to give up.

Thanks for trying to help.
