Sednaiur
Hello there, I'd like to ask a question about saving settings inbetween sessions working with Paint.net and I hope this topic is okay for that. About three versions ago, Paint.net stopped to save any tool settings like anti-aliasing, tolerance etc. Why is that? An oversight maybe? Or is there a setting I might have missed somewhere? The way it is now, it makes it more tedious to work on any files as I need to set all the parameters for all the tools everytime I start up Paint.net. Thanks in advance. Ego Eram Reputo
Set up your configuration, then open Settings > Tools and hit Load from Toolbar. This will make your current settings the default ones. https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/SettingsDialog.html#3 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

I was searching my post but since it was moved, I couldn't find it. An automated email helped me find it though. Thank you very much for the suggestion. I just did what you said and finally that problem about Paint.net "forgetting" the settings is fixed. Helped me quite a lot. Have a nice day
Roly Poly Goblinoli
I documented an issue with settings not persisting (when changed from the Settings menu itself) a few months ago. I think there is a bug somewhere. (Though on a re-read I'm not convinced the OP was talking about that)
