thisisbenwoo
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has a how-to on creating a stack of paper effect from one image. I have a flat 2D image (of a fake bank note) that I have successfully created into a 3D-like image. I'm hoping to turn this into a stack of bank notes. Thank you. Tactilis
People will be more able to help you if you post your 2D image and your 3D-like bank note image. Otherwise it's just guess-work as to what you are starting with.
HyReZ
Why not go on the web and search for images of stacks of paper money and use Paint.NET to superimpose a layer of your image on top?
MJW
With no example, it's hard to know exactly the effect you're going for, but you might try Vanishing Trails.
HyReZ
If you are thinking about something like the image below, after remembering how to use the plugins and assembling the assets, the project took ~ 2 hours. Djisves
Is this is similar to what you want to achieve? I did it the hard, long, time-consuming way: 1. Start with the bottom card/paper image on a transparent layer (a slight shadow helps), 2. Duplicate the layer , 3. Move the duplicated layer just a few pixels right/left and up/down using the arrow keys on your keyboard, 4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you have a stack the size you want.
