akorna
New to Paint.net! I opened an image and it defaults to the background. I can draw on that layer (pencil/brush). I created a new layer and made it active - none of the drawing tools work on that layer. What am I doing wrong?
akorna
I figured it out...had painted the entire layer white because I didn't understand the checkerboard pattern.
lynxster4
Glad you figured it out @akorna. The checkerboard represents the transparency of the layer. 🙂 Quote My Art Gallery | My Shape Packs | ShapeMaker Mini Tut | Air Bubble Stained Glass Chrome Text with Reflections | Porcelain Text w/ Variegated Coloring | Realistic Knit PatternOpalescent Stained Glass | Frosted Snowman Cookie | Leather Texture | Plastic Text | Silk Embroidery Visit my Personal Website "Never, ever lose your sense of humor - you'll live longer"
