Paint.net is unusable (for me)

Usually, all of the time when i use a tool, it shows a window showing the title "Committing Changes". Sometimes it goes quick, and sometime it stays stuck at 70%. How can I fix this so I get none of this window?

Just so we know what we're dealing with, please do the following:

 

Go to your setting screen () 

Click the Diagnostics tab

Click the Copy to clipboard button

 

Come here and paste that text into a message on this thread.

 

That may give us some clues.

 

Also, tell us about the typical size of your images.  How many pixels wide, pixels tall, and number of layers.

I've had this happen to me, but only twice.  I assumed it was due to the latest MS update.

This time, the problem is different:
1) Use "Inner Shadow" (Plugin feature from BotBait)
2) Program locks at window titled "Finishing"
3) After a while, it just is resolved

Maybe I won't have to use paint.net again if this problem persists.
