okay so I closed out of a project I did not save and I accidentally hit do not save is there any way to recover it please I've been working on it ever since lunch

Important lessons here: Periodically SAVE your work as you develop an image and do not be in a rush to close paint.net (which does warn you when you have unsaved changes).
