Special Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Super noob question, but is it possible to change the light grey color to black? being able to toggle between grey and black would be wondrous, sometimes I work with very dark images (like a night sky) and it's hard for me to see the corners of an image when its up against such a light background. Is what I'm referring too. Quote
toe_head2001 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 It cannot. The background color was set to a static gray in v3.36. https://blog.getpaint.net/2008/07/10/paintnet-335-ugly-canvas-background/ Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab

Rick Brewster Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 It's not possible right now but I've had many requests for this recently and I'd like to add it soon. 1 4 Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
Special Posted October 3, 2017 Author Posted October 3, 2017 Thanks for the replies and suggestions, I'll look into doing that layer trick and maybe that plugin too. Glad to also hear that it'll be added natively soon™ to Paint.NET, It'll be a great feature for sure. Quote
