MrGreggles
Hi, I just want to make a non-linear path with the line tool. I thought Cntrl-Click'ing in the new direction would lay a new part of the line but that and other attempts haven't worked. I'm sure it's possible and easy. Thanks for any help. Hope that all makes sense. Cheers.
Ego Eram Reputo
The Line/Curve tool is limited to four control points each time you 'use' it. One at each end and two in the middle. If you need more control points, try this plugin > http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/26457-bezncurve-6-control-points-new-21st-may-2013/ Alternatively, the ShapeMaker plugin will allow you to render any number of lines and curves. MrGreggles
Thank you EER, from a fellow kiwi. I was just looking at your PDN book on Amazon earlier. Looks like a good source of info; nice work.

MrGreggles
It seems that the plug-in is a bit of overkill for what I want. Is it not possible to create a path in Paint.NET by going Cntrl-Click, Click, Click kind of thing? I don't need more control points, just to create a path of connected straight lines. BoltBait
I don't think there's any way to do that. Even if you draw your first line and press Enter to finish it, you can't immediately start drawing the next line. You actually need to move your mouse before you can click to start drawing the next line.
