Ash
From your sample image, the easiest way would be..... Add new layer. Move new layer to bottom. Set top layer (Sinking ship) blending mode to Multiply. Use :LinearGradient: Top to bottom (Black or dark blue from top and slowly getting lighter (white) on bottom.) LFC4EVER
Dark blue works better. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆  .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::.
tymarri
Thanks, here is what I got. http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm27 ... i/ship.jpg I fooled around a bit and that was my first try. The black makes a good overcast look. Now, would this process work for most photos involving landscapes and such? Thankyou again.

LFC4EVER
Now, would this process work for most photos involving landscapes and such? Thankyou again. Well, it should work for every landscape with a sky. I just took CommanderSozo's amazing piece and put it into night-time, using Ash's ingenious method. Yeah, like LFC4EVER said, it should work for most images, but every image is different, if you run into trouble again. Just ask, remember to post sample image. 007 Nab
You guys remember my Tulips Parody? I used the same method to make the flowers look like they were underwater.
