can paint.net grow wings??

Hi I'm new to this and i really wanted to know (if it is possible) how to make a picture like this on Paint.net...

Like i said before im new so it would be a great help if someone can give me step by step instructions

I would say to duplicate that layer with the person, cut out the person on the top layer, add a new layer and move it behind the cutout person layer. Find a stock image of white bird's wings, cut them out, and paste on the layer behind your cutout person.

and make sure to blur the wings a little bit.

i tried it and it seems to look a lot bettter

I think what vandie47 mean is how to make the wings using PDN, not cut out and paste in PDN...??

The settings have changed, but that's the general idea.

A possible choice of wings is to use El&Font Gothic using the ( ) keys or ALT 0040, 0041. Those are corny wings and not the ones you are looking for, but it may be something in the future. The link to the font is here. Hoped that helped.
