The first thing I would check is if the drivers for your printer are updated for your Win8 PC

Some pretty cool images here TR, some good examples of your plugins, I look forward to more images.

Sorry to read about your injury Minners, having been in a (fairly) similar situation myself I can sympathise with you. I had a serious motor bike accident in 2007 that resulted in a broken pelvis, damage to the base of my spine and a total of 6 months off work with painful physiotherapy included. I wish you the very best and look forward to seeing you in one of the comps in the not too distant future

I have a few problems.#7F6AA0 gives me a nice purple color.No.16, Flood mode selects both inside and outside of the ring.Layer selection should be clarified. Not just up and down layer. And it looks shiny, did you use a blending mode?DrewDale, typing away when you posted and so I have a few repeats.
Edit: All my problems solved.
Any chance of sharing how you solved it? Apart from the colour that I managed to sort out, the rest of the tute makes no sense to me at all. Steps 11 - 17 need screenshots in my opinion!
-
I have followed this tute to the letter and can't get the hollow part in the middle, no matter what I do. Here is all I could manage.

#7F6A00 is still purple
-
Is there anyway to change the text's colour using circle text?
As far as I'm aware, you need to pick your colour first from the colour wheel before you run circle text
-
Looks interesting, but step #1 the colour - #7F6AA0 produces a purple. Steps #12 - 17 could use some additional screenshots, also you have not mentioned what colour the primary should be on Steps #16 & 17. I will bookmark for later all the same.

you have posted in the wrong place again - this should be in discussions and questions. In the other thread that you posted (gold frames) I gave you the hex for all the colours you asked about. Here is the codes again - Silver - C0C0C0 Emerald - 50C878 Ruby - EO115F hope this helps

Well done on the gallery entry Red ochre, truly a remarkable work, very realistic
-
Nice new shapes. After a quick play I found that by just selecting the edge of the star (leaving the gradient intact) I ran Object edge & clipwarp to create this

Candyland dream is top work Helen, it looks good enough to eat. A real happy image.

Exactly! Drew posted the idea before I had a chance to word it more accurately
I take full blame for being super efficient

You will find many tutorials on text HERE you don't have to follow them to the letter, think outside of the box and make something unique from one of them.
