1280x1280 is a pretty small max wallpaper limit. A reasonable one would be something like 2000x1600 imo.The size must be between 640x640 - 1280x1280. No larger, no smaller.btw, I'm in.

Excellent space station Goonfella, really joyful to look at
QFT. Really good job on the space station. Really intuitive use of S3D.

I bet you even like to unwrap and rewrap your Christmas gifts.
Now.. thats an idea.
@LFC4EVER wow, what did you do to the tire, it looks much real and rubbery, great job I will try to do this effect to the whole tire, and thanks so much.No problem yellowman. I took your tyre texture, extracted the black and white part of the bevel onto new layers. Set the blend mode to the white bevel to overlay and lowered a bit of opacity. i set the black bevel to reflect and lowered opacity. Then i just ran S3D with your xml file, but i lowered light intensity to give a more realistic look.

topezia, that cat is really cool.
Great job.

i put  there because i looked at the flower in full view and not just the thumbnail.

With this around, why would you need mine? This is way better.
Maybe it's time for mine to retire.
Nah, i think both of these can be used depending on what you wish to do. Your Color Balance gives a stronger result than dpy's. dpy's can be used for finer adjustments if needed.

Not to be picky, but dpy, you spelt "Highlights" wrong. you wrote "highlits".

@Yellowman
I edited my post above to hopefully give a better idea of what i meant.

Looks awesome in large view. Really loving the realism in this piece.

looks really awesome when its small. The edges are really crisp and the effect looks awesome'er. The full-size isn't as good imo. Its too blurry.
-
Liking your vids. Especially the HD part.
If you're gonna work on the shading, try some vector style shading. It looks better than blur shading on an anime style art imo.
Keep up the great work.

If you're gonna start using C4D's in sigs, then i advise you use these to begin with. http://www.deviantart.com/#order=9&q=effect+c4d
Use them to create effects and stuff.
Generally set the blending mode to screen, lighten, additive or something that gets rid of the black.

Genius. Thanks Ash! You make our PDN use much more efficient with every tut.

If you've still got the original phoenix, then you could try adapting this tut to get the effect you want. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27001

Awesome. Loving the ability to choose to modify Highlights, Midtones and Shadows. Thanks!

Work on planet texture. Are you using normal ground textures to make the texture, or a mix of planet texture maps? If you're using the first, i advise you use the latter. Also this tut helps a lot of making planets: http://alyn.deviantart.com/art/Advanced ... n-11885274

Amazing job on your latest piece.

Yeah, it helps. Thanks.

Wheel
Great job on this. Looking pretty realistic, but the treads on the tyre look flat. If the white and black part of the bevel are on a separate layer, then set the blend mode to something like overlay and maybe lower opacity to give it a engraved look.
Maybe add more chrome to the rim of the tyre.
Great job overall though.
EDIT:
something like this. i think.

I like this one. Its simple but smooth, and it looks like it could be used for a really cool tiled floor or something. Great work.
-
Its only slightly blurry fram what i can see via the link in your sig-space. Just apply a simple Sharpen+ to the result after re-sizing and it should be quite clear again.
-
-
Fade the blur in the foreground more. Its too sudden and looks a bit unrealistic. Great photograph and idea though.
-
That rose is really close to being photo-realistic. Absolutely awesome work. Once you finish the leaves and stuff i think it should be fit for the Galleria.
Oh yeah, tut plz.

Great work on the glass blocks. The red one looks really awesome.
Maybe try an isometric view of one.

The horse is looking really good. Loving the hair effect you got going.
I feel that the body of the horse may be a bit shiny and reflective. Maybe tone down the shines?
It'll look awesome when finished. Fab drawing and shading skills.
