Instead of using the Opacity bar in the Layer Options, use BBs Transparency plugin. It's better when you merge layers down.

If you've wouldn't have linked the Zeus stock, I would never have found it. Your cutout and the rotation appear that you used a totally different stock. Great and clean job! PS: the shiny eyes are meeeeh

If you overdue this effect, you get compression. The best way would have been to feather the silhouette before lowering the opacity. Feather doesn't work well on transparent pixels. The arrangement was done in 5 min. I just made it, to show how easy it is to change the colour with adjustments.

My tuts are very long and timewasting when I create them. And when they are finished there are only a few people who take their time to try it. What I want to say is, that's mostly unneeded to make tuts.

No you don't. Alt+Left mouse button is subtract. Is there a way to change and define your own shortcuts? Some plugins with shortcuts I'll never use and again other plugins as Outline Object and Align Object, I almost use in every picture.

I hate the new selection tool It was easy and quick to create a selection with Left Mouse; Ctrl + Left Mouse and Right Mouse... Now I have to click first another button to substract a part of the selection

If you scan your negatives in you can scan as much images at one time as your scanner allows you. If you save the scanned image on your computer, just open it with PdN and cut and manipulate your photos to your liking. Press Ctrl+Shift+I to gain the photo out of the negatives (or Adjustments >> Invert Colours). Watch the plugin section (viewforum.php?f=16) for plugins if you didn't already. All the good Effects and Adjustments aren't preinstalled in the program you have to add them by yourself. You need WinZip for this. Here are some of them I quickly found, which might help you.
