  1. I'm liking the last two works (madjik and oma) I didn't know madjik had a dA!
  2. Thank you rick! That could be useful one day...
  3. Please look at the first post here: http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopi ... &start=150 So many people have trouble with this, I might as well make a video tutorial on youtube....
  4. EDIT: Awww..Crud! Forgot to add source images..Here you go: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Camera_icon.svg http://cache.gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2006/09/Sony_HVR-V1U_camcorder-angle-1158674206776-440_330.jpg http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Löwenzahn-JJ5.jpg EDIT:EDIT: In case you didn't know, the pictures inside the folder icon are the only things not made by me. If my calculations are correct: +1 point for icons (Only 1 of the icons is 100% PDN) +2 for taskbar +4 for windows (I made 2) +2 for custom wallpaper (I made the space pic myself) +x because I recieved x votes (x standing for the unknown) So I'm at least going to get 9 points if my calculations are true. Ok people, for my first MSC, I present to you Graphica X, the latest and most advanced in Software 2.0 programs. This OS designed to be technologically superior, yet simpler than today's vast array of operating systems. So there ya have it. It's picture time 8) Want the big (1024x768) picture? Also for your viewing pleasure (check out the messenger, hehe, especially the contacts...) here is a version that has been annotated: And here comes the not so important parts: Here is the logo for Graphica X: Here is the background I used (reduced to 800x600): Here is the basic, raw folder icon I used: Here are the icons: Here be-eth the windows : Messenger: Graphica Explorer: The taskbar: And finally Graphica quickKEYS: Quick Explanations: quickKEYS: Quickly restart, shutdown, and put your computer in rest mode taskbar: organizes many different tools into one efficient and stylish taskbar Graphica Explorer: simple and great way to find folders. Address bar doubles as search tool Messenger: Stylish & simple way to chat In Conclusion: The Chances I'll win are 0.661%, but awww who cares? It was fun, ya got to admit... Time for a mtdew after a long day's work... :mtdew:
  5. An blending modes/plugin test, that came out fairly well:
  6. I usually just draw some white on a new layer and lower the opacity...Please refer to these tutorials for your request: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1158 (glass buttons) viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3113 (glass text) http://cmdsketchpad.com/tutorial.php?tutid=1 (glass orbs)
  7. Next time please amke the text a bit bigger please! Anyway, here is the tutorial (I'm posting it here so that I don't get anymore PM's; my sig isn't THAT good... 1)Get a nice stock image or make one yourself. 2)Make a selection of 500X150. 3)Resize this selection to the bigest size it can get without going off the canvas, making sure you hold shift down. 4)Copy this and paste it into a new image. 5)Under Adjustments, go to Black and White. 6)Now use curves to colour it an icy blue. 7)Create a new layerand use lightrays on it, making sure it's got an alpha gradient(The colours must be two different shades of blue.) 8)Set the blending mode of this layer to overlay. 9)Flatten the image. 10)Create a new layer and type your text. 11)Flatten it again. There ya go! Oh and Madjik, that is brilliant! I love things with those kind of cheerful, tropical colours. That's pretty cool Rubrica! Here are my results
  8. Mega Huge:http://www.getpaint.net/images/pdn30logo_300dpi.png Large:http://www.getpaint.net/images/pdn30logo_96dpi.png For tiny and small sizes see rick's first post here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1072&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=2130 Or if you want a really small version I guess (not sure) you could copy rick's avatar. Or you code d'load the pdn source...
  9. If enough people like it, I may make this my new avatar...
  10. The first one's pretty cool, but the other one seems a bit text-y....But overall, good job, and welcome to the forums! This is a lot easier now because of Sine Waves....
  11. Like BB said, some of it's features have now been integrated into Paint.NET, but back when this was made there were little tools to do gradients in PDN. But this plugin still offers benefits like HSV.
  12. I replied on your dA... And do you really like that sig? Hmmm...I'll put it on the "rate the sig.." thread, and if enough people like it, I'll use it to replace my "700"* sig later on.. *see below
  13. A concept signature: It isn't exactly great, but it's o.k. in my opinion...
