  1. Yeah, what he said. Finally, a way to cut out antialiased images fast*! *Key word.
  2. I first saw this just before I went to work, but I decided to wait until I came back to comment, so I'd have a good while to think about it. I like the idea of a "Galleria" where the best of the best can go so new users can see the awesomeness that can be created using Paint.NET. I know this somewhat defeats the purpose, but I would still like a small thread that is like "Comment on the Work of the poster above you" sort of thing.
  3. That's cool. I love that effect. Great color scheme as well.
  4. What's so important about page 777 :? ? Cool wallpaper FrozenByte.
  5. That would seem probable, yes. So the answer would be that in version 3.20, the "Effects" have been reorganized into new subcategories, viz. Artistic, Stylize, Render, Distort, and Photo.
  6. If I ever get around to having a new signature/avatar (unlikely in the near future, due to the popularity of my current one), these would probably be it:
  7. I say that there should be a separate discussion thread for this. Look at how many entries there are compared to questions and comments.
  8. Translation: Dear Members of the Paint.NET forum community, In Paint.NET versions 3.00 and 3.10 there was a feature known as "Editor". Where is this in version 3.20? This seems to be missing in the latest version. If this is to be reimplemented in version 4.00, then nevermind.
  9. Several things. Yes, there is an option in Paint.NET to flatten (Ctrl+Shift+F) and there is an option to make it so the imported picture does indeed constrain. (When importing the second picture, click "Keep Canvas Size"). The default background for Paint.NET is indeed white, but you can bypass this by clicking ctrl+a and then hitting the delete key. I don't know what you mean by "removing the focus". What you could've done is copied the two files on different layers and then use a transparent reflecting linear gradient.
  10. I know that this has been resolved, but did you put the pictures on separate layers?
  11. I disagree wholeheartedly. I think that there IS an art to fonts. A huge art. I think fonts can evoke emotions, feelings, etc. I love fonts. :-) I knew somebody was going to say that But I wholeheartedly agree.
  12. I'm pretty sure you can't. If I am right, plugins are like "effects" not tools...Correct me if I am wrong.
  13. My entry is in. Go ahead. Call me lazy. Yes: the background was made with Polar Inversion.
  14. Yes, I am the laziest person on this forum, bar none. If this entry is unallowed (I made it before the competition, and it is my current signature) gladly remove it. 100% Paint.NET No Stock Images Used.
  15. I'm not sure if this will work or not (I haven't tried this; I'm doing this from the top of my head). You could find the picture, and duplicate it. On the bottom layer, you could apply the Pencil Sketch effect with your likened settings. Then on the top, lower the opacity and possibly change the blending mode. EDIT: Nevermind it doesn't work good. I remember an old topic about a solution to this but I can't seem to find it
  16. For Paintings did you try the "Oil Painting" effect :? For comics, does the "Ink Sketch" plugin suit your needs?
  17. I said it before, and I am going to say it again: Simply beautiful. I have to try this sometime.
  18. It doesn't offer any customization, but Rect to Polar works sometimes too.
  19. First you have to expand the Canvas Size, with the anchor set to "middle", if you don't want the edges cropped off.
  20. The 2nd one can be done like this: 1. Via Layer/Rotate Zoom, set it to 37 degrees or whatever 2. On Layer 2, go to Layer/Rotate Zoom Again, and just click OK as no adjusting is required. 3. Repeat for all layers.
  21. That isn't seperate software :? It is just a plugin for Paint.NET, and that is a tutorial on how to use it.
