  1. Madjik, that's really nice Click for fullsize on my dA Something that I'm currently using as my wallpaper. I made it earlier today after I made my sotw entry. It's basically a copy of the sotw entry but without the polar inversion & a few extra sine waves & gradients Enjoy
  2. That plugin appears in the Adjustments menu. Hope that helps
  3. That's my entry Made using mostly Paint.NET basic tools, with a few less basic tools (Polar Inversion+ Curves+ & Madjik's new Sine Waves plugin).
  4. Voting ended at Midday (GMT) on christmas eve. We're now waiting for Rubrica to tell us the results.
  5. Your plugins are safe but if you want to be really paranoid you can create a backup of your Effects & File Types folders just in case. Then if anything does go wrong (which it won't) then you've still got your plugins.
  6. Thanks for the update, Rick. Lightning fast installation for me, certainly under 5 minutes, easily under 3 & possibly under 2. One mega thumbs up from me
  7. There are a couple of buttons under the layers window that are up & down arrows, these more your currently selected layer either up or (you guessed it) down Hope that helps
  8. You need to search the tutorials section to learn things... Anyway, now that you know where to search, you can search for "Chrome Text" that should hopefully get you what you need. Edit: This may help you
  9. I'd never have guessed The above words are meant in jest, I also apologise for the utter uselessness of this post
  10. Madjik & Pyrochild have both made .zip files of all their plugins & they are both downloadable from the plugins section of the forum. Both plugin packs are worth having as anyone who uses the forum regularly will tell you As for a "Generic Paint.NET Plugin Pack" sorta thing, usedHONDA was making one but has gone a little quiet on the subject, you could send him a PM to see if it's anywhere near finished.
  11. If I'm going to be pernickety then having two cabs (speaker cabinets) won't give you more power, having a more powerful amplifier will give you more power & a more powerful amplifier won't necessarily look different to a less powerful one... Anyway, I'll stop my nitpicking This post was meant in jest, please do not take it seriously.
  12. New Layer set to Multiply & then colour the relevant parts brown?
  13. Is it not possible using th_? I did read somewhere that you can use some BB code to specify image size but I can't remember where or what the code was.
  14. Search for "Cutting Out Images The Easy Way version 2" (without quotes), that should solve your problems
  15. Do you mean the things that Drummers hit Bark Bark? If so, they're spelt Cymbals
  16. TheHamster: Nice, like the colours Click for a bigger version on my dA As above, click for the same (but bigger) on dA
  17. If there were a site that just hosted PDN plugins, you'd have to make sure they were worth their sever space & worth people's time & HDD space to download. If they were tested in the Plugin forum & then ok'd to go on the plugin site it would be good. Otherwise people will open pdn & it'll say a new plugin is available do you want to download it? For all they know they could be downloading the best plugin ever or some pile of rubbish that soemone made as a test to see if they could even do it. I guess what I'm asking for is quality control. It's no good having a dedicated server / website for paint.net plugins only for loads of them to be rubbish. They should be tested beforehand by regular members of the forum that use paint.net a lot so that they can suggest what the plugin needs before it goes on the plugin site. What would also be needed on the site, would be categorization, it's no good having a massive list of plugins & a brief description, simple categories would suffice, things like Distort plugins, Render plugins, File Types, Adjustments, you get the idea. Anyway, I'll shut up now & let y'all contemplate my blatherings
  18. Firstly, please change your thread title to something more descriptive, this will get locked as soon as a mod sees it, also please read the rules. To answer your question, make sure you're saving it as a .JPEG or a .GIF or a .PNG, Photobucket and image shack won't work unless it's in a recognised image format. Read this for more information
  19. Nice use of the hexagrid plugin Possible new Av Possible new sig
