EvilNeko replied to cripster's topic in Troubleshooting & Bug Reports
Why don't you turn off the proxy? Or are you trying to bypass an 8e6 system or something similar? ~Sammy -
Do you have the drivers for your printer installed? ~Sammy

Eee. You might wanna not post stuff like this. *Points at rules and thread rules.* This shoulda gone in Overflow or the community, but yish, we all thank the people who make tuts ^^ eventually you'll get good enough to make a few im sure. ~Sammy -

A lot of these 'tools' take a lot of time to program. Time a lot of the people doing this for us, -for FREE- don't have that kind of time. Deal with it. Make a new layer, put in the colors you want to use the 'tools' on and where, then change the layer properties to burn or dodge. And there is your solution. ~EvilNeko

EvilNeko replied to Divine Rage's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
How to make that effect..hmm. Doesn't seem like its too hard. Its a simple make fire thing, after you tinker with the curves and drop shadows. ~EvilNeko -

Roughing up images and a question on lineart
EvilNeko replied to Transpose's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Thats because you have not set your paint bucket up to a high enough percentage, at least on the lineart bit. As for the skin, There isn't much I can think of to make the skin texture like that other than a pixilate kinda thing. Or you can take it to old MS Paint and try the spraypaint can thingey...I don't even try skin tones anymore, takes too much time for me. ~EvilNeko -

How to create realistic human skin in Paint.net
EvilNeko replied to ose85's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Heh. Well to actually answer the guy's question.. You cna always take another picture with human skin, and then select an area, and copy/paste it all around. You just have to be kinda careful about how you do it. As far as I can remember, crating realistic skin is hard as h*** on any painting program. ~EvilNeko -

EvilNeko replied to aatwo's topic in The Pictorium
I like Vampire font ^^ But thats just me. I like that first one, but use the font that smears sideways, and put it on the blade. If you had the blade clean except for hte edges too, it looks more realistic. ~EvilNeko -
Plugin Idea & Request---Blend colors.
EvilNeko replied to Ash's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
It is but they want it easier I think. *Shrugs.* I would just go the long way and gaussian. ~EvilNeko -
I would assume you draw your heart, then your line however you want through it, then lasso select your pieces and move them apart. or just draw the separate pieces. *shrugs.* not an expert there sorry. ~EvilNeko

Your sig is too tall ^^ 500x150 sorry. Good work and welcome. ~EvilNeko -
Look in the plugins section, or use the forum's nifty Search feature to find the plugin. ~EvilNeko

Then you resize your picture to a larger size, in which it will look pixelated, and then use those same selection tools on the small area. Orrr. Instead of resizing, just increase the magnification of your picture to like 500% before using the selection tools. ~EvilNeko

What I do is I make a canvas setting, a point where I can make all the changes and I memorize where it is in the history. I make each frame from there, once I finish a frame I flatten it all and save the .gif as "whatever1.gif" , then I go back to that point in the history and make the second frame, then flatten my layers, before saving as "whatever2.gif" and so on. It makes it a lot easier with a long animation. ~EvilNeko

It will. ~EvilNeko

Tutourial request for Water Effects
EvilNeko replied to RapSquatch's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Try to duplicate, using it on the top layer, then overlay and flatten. Play around with other effects, sometimes a blue will help. ~EvilNeko -
