Excellent. Install'd.
-
While you're at it, how'd you like my Birthday wish?
-
Heh, thank you Crazy Dan and pyro. I had just happened to be working on the ignite project, and then the Minimalistic SOTW came up, so I went for it.
-
Man, it's been quite a while since I have entered the SOTW.
Just one word: ignite.
No stock images were used in the creation of this signature.

Oh, yes. You could ask david.atwell also, instead of david_atwell.
(my bad )
-
@diana (& anybody): if you have a problem with a tutorial/how to use Paint.NET/etc, feel free to Private Message me and almost anybody on this forum who posts regularly. A good person to ask is david_atwell, who pretty much lives on helping people with PDN.
He and us others will most likely know how and be willing to help you out.

Ok, but what I mean is: do we have to stick to the 'guidelines' for a phpBB-skin, or can we just make a completely new forum. It's like in the browser-thing, did we have to make a 'valid' FireFox-skin, no, we could just create a completely new 'browserconcept'.
I guess we can do the same with a forum, but just to be sure...
Oh and maybe I'm a bit too convinced that it will be the forum, anyway, I'm getting started already
And this is a good question. When the browser idea was suggested, the general term 'browser' was used. That could mean any of the wide range of browsers available, or even a completely new one. It just had to be a web browser.
But the Forum idea was suggested very specifically as the Paint.NET forum. Thus, it must be taken on a case by case basis of specificity. If the PDN forum does end up being the theme for MSC #7 (which it may not), then I would skin this forum and none other. I will usually tell you at the top of each submission thread what is allowed.
That doesn't mean that you cannot come up with the wackiest idea for a forum evar, as long as it is the Paint.NET forum, then fine.

So soon, I hear you say? I agree. December is coming!

Sorry, m'lad. One cannot simply add a transparent 'frosted' element on top that will blur layers below it. One must copy the background and blur that.
Voting shall commence. I can make the vote count public, but I do not think that it should be shown who has voted for who. Opinions?

Good job, georgia.
-
Good work, Commander. It has the look of a topographical map.

Hello, aitkenji. I think that you should learn how to Alpha Mask. It can provide smooth rounded corners.

Methinks the Forum and dA...
That for me likewise.

That's great, Madjik!
