  1. Took me a minute, then I lol'd... Anyway, this looks quite useful. I may use it soon.
  2. There might be some people on the forum who can speak both English and German, and would be willing to translate. I'll run it through babelfish and see if it helps, but being an online translator it probably won't be much use. I do not know how accurate this is. Altavista.com translated it for me. Probably makes very little sense.
  3. Ok, I changed my mind about how to go about this. Instead of using the gradient tool to gradually go into the next image, use the recoloring tool . First, use the color picker tool :ColorPicker: and select the color you want the snow to be (around (640, 150) on layer 3 of the image you provided) as your primary color (left click). Next, select the color you want to change (around (750, 230) on layer 4) as the secondary color (right click). 50% tolerance worked well for me. Change the brush size to about 50 to 80, and on layer 4 brush over the snow area with the recoloring tool . Repeat as needed (with different colors) for other areas, such as the ramp and other sections of snow. If the edges still seem to clash too much, now try using the gradient tool in transparency mode :AlphaChannel: instead of color mode :AllColorChannels: along the edges, or even the feather/antialias plugin effects. Does this help?
  4. Phil, could you provide an unmarked image (preferably the .pdn when all of the layers, if possible) so that I could post a mini-tutorial for you. I think you want to blend the images together, but I'm having trouble understanding exactly what you mean. For example, i'm not sure what you mean by "another brightness." If you mean the color/brightness of the snow where the pictures meet, then I can show you how to do it. EDIT: Phil is sending it to me via email. (might take a little while for me to make the mini-tutorial)
  5. It actually moves it? Awesome! I believe you can have Windows XP do this by default (either that or I had a program for it). Anyway, it's very useful in PDN.
  6. I think he means the black squares are marking where the "lines" (border between pictures) are. That's what I thought before. markierung translates to marker (according to Google).
  7. Yeah, but we can all laugh at Rick for being the oldest. You old fart! "...ability to save and load presets for some adjustments (such as Curves)" REALLY? First I heard of that. This makes me even more impatient!
  8. Do me a favor: If you have a link to an alternative GIF Animator, post it here (after this post - I don't feel like going through every post and looking for them) or PM me. I'm going to add a list of other animators to the first post. PS: I got the link from the previous post already (Adamodell) and one from the first page (trickman).
  9. It sounds like you are trying to ask one of two things. -How to remove those black squares. If so, then do as Myrddin suggested (especially clone stamp). -How to blend the images together. If so, then try to use this tutorial to help you. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2756
  10. I rarely use that ... I really should.
  11. I tried updating my sig from my halloween sig to my normal one, but got this message... "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image." I tried several times, with no success. Yet, it works fine in posts... EDIT: *sigh* ...now it works. I don't know what the problem was.
  12. Some basic matching sigs I made from a game "Enchanted Arms." I'm not great at cutting stuff out, so the characters may look a tad choppy.
  13. Ty, but I can't take credit for the idea of the ;-) face on the pumpkin. (google gives good ideas!)
  14. Wrong. Its PDN 4.0. I was thinking that too, but then I reconsidered. I'm more than content with 3.2, 4.0 will simply be ... EXTREME SUPER HAPPIFULNESS
  15. Oh, that. Ok, I always used it just never knew what it was called. Thanks.
  16. No. My mother often mix up the right and left button, and one could accidentally click on the RMB. The Ctrl+Click is *made* to be difficult to access (i.e you have to use a keystroke and a click). Therefore, it's an usual ("standard") combination in other programs, IIRC. Hope I made me understood. While on the topic, I actually like the idea. Perhaps there could be a toggle option between right-click and control. Anyway, What exactly does that mean? Does it mean that it effects every pixel as it "gets" there (for contiguous), and effects pixels based on the single pixel you selected (for global)? I kind of get it, but I'm not sure I do ... sort of? Yeah...
  17. Set tolerance to 0% and use the magic wand on a transparent pixel. Invert selection, then crop to selection.
  18. Beta is due for mid Nov, I believe. But even Dec ... oo I can't wait. I'm hoping a b-day present for me (dec 5) instead of christmas
  19. Oh oh oh, it was so small my eye must have zoomed over it. Ok, thanks! Question answered. 8)
