  1. TheVoid, I'm trying to figure out what you do. Do you simply dupe the layer, pixelate, and change the blending mode? Or is there more to it? I use it to get this: More Tie Dye!
  2. Just a sig I made for a friend, "Eternal Darkness" is the clan name.
  3. Looks like a cool idea. For now, to duplicate the effect of the first provided image, I just blurred a second layer and used the alpha gradient tool, then tilted it. Not exactly the same, but it resembles the first pic on the wiki site.
  4. I tried to make the water ripple a little with dents, but it didn't show up too well. :\ Still came out good, methinks.
  5. When trying to edit tool defaults, trying to change the line end cap styles makes PDN crash.
  6. I tried to find the rules. It said click a tab on the left, and there wasn't one (maybe I'm going blind? ). Anyway, you should probably use this site's sig size limit as a reference. Signatures really shouldn't be much larger than that.
  7. Start by reading the rules more thoroughly (#6). I believe, if you have searched for everything you can think of, it should be fine to ask (provided you make mention of your search attempts). I don't believe this has been asked before, and if so not commonly. Honestly, it doesn't look like you can make it any smoother. I'd say gsussian blur at 2px, other than that it looks fine to me. I'm not really sure of the result you want to get. (change the title before this thread gets locked - Moderators will not hesitate : Rule #6)
  8. Uh, can we have like a temporary thread in the plugins section when 3.20 is released, called "3.20 plugin updates" or something, where plugin authors can post links to their thread if they have updated it for 3.20, so that we know which ones have been updated?
  9. Adding a control to choose the center of an effect does not automatically make the effect work. It's still up to the plugin authors to modify their algorithms to work around a center. Yes, I know. Anyway, now that I look at it I don't think there really are as many effects that would use a center point as I thought.
  10. *downloads* I know, but didn't you say they could add a snippet of code to add certain features, like choosing the center or something? One would think, to improve your plugin, you would update it with this snippet of code. I was just thinking a lot of people would update theirs to add things like that. I don't know... :\ Not that I have a problem with it, I just figured I'd put it out there.
  11. Unless they published their source ^ Ok, now I have a questions... This release will probably cause a lot of plugin authors to redo their plugins (add some small changes anyway), right? Which means we're going to have to redownload a lot of them, right? *sets aside a chunk of time for doing this*
  12. Yes it is, several times. Just so you know for next time, it is against the rules to post things already suggested. You can use searchpaint.net or the search on the forum to find posts. Also, read the rules. Last I heard, someone was working on a plugin for it involving the clone stamp and such. I wouldn't expect it any time soon, though.
  13. Without any semi-transparent pixels, you will not be able to tell on the canvas. Make sure you have your layers window open, you will notice a new layer appear. On the menu, Window -> Layers.
  14. Grayscale (adjustments -> "black and white") cut out (see tutorial "cutting out images the easy way" or something like that) dupe layer set top layer blending mode to "color burn" dupe top layer set top layer blending mode to "color dodge" flatten Then from here, I'm not sure what to do. I tried median blur and some other things, but it didn't turn out quite right... :\ Might want to play around with gaussian blur (very low), median blur, and the brightness/contrast adjustment.
  15. That setup looks good ^ And of course, we're all over obsessive maniacs... (duh).
  16. Eh I noticed it too. Didn't really bother me, but I think it would make sense to make it correct. Close enough though, eh?
