If the image you saved doesnt have a transparent background you'll probably have to cut it out from the background. There are a few tuts that show you how to do this in the tut section.
If you ever watch "adult swim" they use pics with this effect after commercial breaks sometimes, I've seen a few tuts on it and even made some of my own but I just used the gradient tool in transparency mode. Good job with the tut man
Next time angle the object before you start working on it cause if you view a 3d object straight on it won't look 3d at all lol, but your color, highlights, and glares look good.
Nice splatter crimson, the red colored ones on the right side are really cool looking.
I was making this for the SOTW but I'm not gonna be able to finish it plus it's not really going where I wanted it to but I figured I might aswell post it somewhere before it gets lost in my pics folder haha.
Not yet haha, it would def be a cool plugin if someone could make it but I doubt anyone will. There are a few different programs that you can download that will do this, just Google it
I just want to say thanks again for all the awesome comments I received for this tutorial and I wanted to point out that I have added two new tips to the tut, look for them in green with "EDIT" as the first word
What do you mean metal plate? I was gonna see if TopHATslash liked it and if so I would remake it in PDN but the tagflow forums keep changing and i'm gonna wait till he's figured out how he wants them before I go back and start posting haha.
